Urban Planning and Property Development (UPPD) Conference

The Annual International Conference on Urban Planning and Property Development (UPPD) is a premiere Academic Research Conference serving as a platform for academics, researchers, scientists, consultants and policy makers to interact and discuss how to improve urban planning and property development in order to enhance the lifestyle of the community. The conference will provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange novel ideas and new research development information in the field of urban planning, urban design, real estate and property development. To share experiences and explore science, methods, tools, analysis as applied to these studies.

Major topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Equitable Economic Development – promote demand-side economics in making places more attractive to, and easier for, entrepreneurs and the skilled labor force
  • Game-Changing Transportation
  • City Redesign for Emergency Management

UPPD 2018 Conference Proceedings: All accepted and presented papers at the conference (UPPD 2018) will be published in the conference proceedings (Print ISSN: 2425-0112, E-Periodical ISSN: 2425-0201).
Journal of Engineering Technology: All authors who present their papers at the conference will be invited to submit an extended version of their research paper for the GSTF Journal of Engineering Technology (JET) – Print ISSN: 2251-3701, E-periodical: 2251-371X. All submitted papers will go through a blind review process for acceptance and will be published without additional cost (digital).
Best Paper Awards and Best Student Paper Awards will be conferred at the conference (in order to qualify for the award, the paper must be presented at the conference).
UPPD 2018 will also constitute a Special Panel Session.
Panel Proposals are invited for submission. A minimum of three papers centering on a specific topic will be accepted for submission under Panel Category.
